No More Restrictions On Online Gambling!

28 Aug 2008

According to the CQPolitics.com the US Republican party has removed the prohibition on online gambling. The paper that explains the prohibition is due to be released the next week.

It is probable that most of the UIGEA stipulations will be removed but some of them will still remain. Nevertheless this remains to be a great achievement for online gambling industry in the US since the restriction on online gambling for the US players signed by President Bush in October 2006.

The UIGEA stands for the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, this act forced many gambling companies close their US businesses and fined lots of companies for accepting wagers from American players.

Despites the prohibition many US players still gambled in the online halls that accepted players from the US.
